What Is SMT?

SMT refers to Surface Mount Technology, which is a series of process flows that are processed on the PCB boards. It is the most popular welding technology and extremely stable mature process in the electronic assembly industry.

It is a circuit assembly technology that installs surface mounted components (SMC/SMD) without pins or short leads on the surface of printed circuit boards or other substrates, and assembles them through reflow soldering, wave soldering, and other methods.

In general, the electronic products we use are made up of PCBs with various capacitors, resistors, and other electronic components designed according to the circuit diagram.
